- 500 gr flour (also half full grain, half white if you like - I used it)
- 350 ml of water
- 1 sachet of dry yeast
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1,5 tablespoons sunflower seeds or another grains or nuts you like
- Grease for the mold
- Mix all the ingredients together, I use a stand mixer and let mix for 5 minutes. Cover the bread with a towel and let it rest until double the size, around 45 to 50 minutes. Then knead thoroughly and put into a greased bread form. Let it rest and double the size, again about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Coat (I spray it) the top with water and put sunflower seeds on it. Then bake for about 40-50 minutes at 200°C for 10 minutes and reduce the heat to 180°C for more 20 minutes. You can check with a wooden stick and if it comes dry out from the middle of the bread, is ready. Oven must be preheated. Or simply throw everything in the baking machine.
I have still a lot to learn about to make own bread. I have already more recipes saved 😉 and every week I hope that I can try a new bread type. With potatoes, white, full grain, or rolls, I love warm simple white rolls… So, let’s do it!
